EfficiencyOne is a leading efficiency enterprise that partners to deliver energy efficiency and carbon mitigation services in Nova Scotia and beyond. The organization has contributed to over $4 billion in energy savings and 22% of Nova Scotia's GHG emission reductions. EfficiencyOne has completed energy-efficient upgrades in over 700 homes in Mi'kmaq communities, saving more than 3,858 tonnes in GHG emissions. The organization has developed partnerships with 13 Mi'kmaq communities over 10 years, with a goal to reach all homes by 2027.

Open to part-time and full-time students enrolling in post-secondary education (university or college) in engineering or environmental-science related programs.

Eligible Programs Include:

  • Electrical Technician
  • Energy Sustainability Engineering Technology
  • Environmental Engineering Technology
  • Energy-related programs
  • Business administration (finance, marketing, human resources)
